Use BIP39 Decoy Seed Phrase Generator

What it does

Generate random decoy recovery phrases to flood phishing forms that steal seed phrases. There is deliberately no field for your own phrase: a real one belongs in your wallet and nowhere else.

It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.

Example

Five 12-word decoys

Input
Number of phrases: 5 · Words per phrase: 12 · Checksum: valid (decoy)
Output (captured 2026-10-20)
Generated 5 decoy phrases (12 words, valid checksum).

Five random phrases that pass the BIP-39 checksum, labelled as decoys. Generate a fresh set for every form and never use one as a wallet.

FAQ

What is seed flooding and how do decoy phrases help?

Seed-phishing sites collect the recovery phrases that victims type into fake wallet, airdrop or support forms. Submitting many decoys fills their database with worthless entries, so stolen phrases are harder to find and the operators waste time on empty wallets.

Why does the tool only generate decoys and never check my own phrase?

Typing a real recovery phrase into any website exposes the wallet, and fake phrase validators are a common way to steal one. So the page has no phrase input on purpose: it generates random decoys and tests its own BIP-39 code only on the published test vectors.

Are the decoys stored or sent anywhere, and can I use one as a wallet?

They are generated in your browser with crypto.getRandomValues and are not stored or sent. They are meant to be submitted to phishing forms, so treat them as public and never send funds to a wallet made from one.
