How the scam works
Fake SOAT sites rely on drivers who need a policy quickly and search for a cheap digital purchase. The page asks for vehicle and personal details, then takes the visitor to a checkout that collects card numbers, expiry dates and security codes, sometimes followed by a request for a bank one-time code. The risk is losing money on a policy that was never issued, and having card or banking details reused for fraud. A driver who believes they are insured may also be driving without valid coverage.

Twelve of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain by 2026-10-07, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai.
