PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

primeequistead-fr.fyi is an impersonation phishing site. Its name pairs a brand-style label, "primeequistead," with a "fr" tag, which points to French-speaking visitors as the intended audience. PhishDestroy first logged it on 2026-09-23. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites borrow the name and look of a service people already trust, then use that borrowed credibility to collect logins, personal details or payments the victim believes are going to the real company. Anything typed into such a page goes straight to the operators. The page title currently reads "primeequistead-fr.fyi - contact with domain owner | Epik.com," which is a registrar contact page rather than a branded lure, while our classification remains impersonation phishing.

Evidence

On VirusTotal, 18 of 91 engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-10-03. For a site this new, that is a notable level of agreement. The vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, ADMINUSLabs, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao.
