Overview

solidomercantan-es.com is an impersonation phishing domain that poses as Lido, the liquid staking service, to target people who stake ETH or hold stETH. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-24. It was still online with live content when last checked on 2026-10-19. The page currently carries the title "solidomercantan-es.com - contact with domain owner | Epik.com", which reads like a registrar contact page, while we classify the domain as Lido impersonation.

How the scam works

Lido impersonation sites copy the look of the staking dashboard and invite visitors to connect a wallet to stake, unstake or claim rewards. The connect step leads to a signature or token approval that hands spending rights to the attacker, who can then pull ETH, stETH or other tokens from the wallet. Some variants also ask for a seed phrase under the pretext of verifying or recovering the account. In either case the victim loses whatever the approval or phrase gives access to, usually without any further warning.

Evidence

On 2026-10-03, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Several of them are mainstream security suites, so many users with standard protection may already see a warning. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses, and PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.
