Convert a dotted IPv4 address to its decimal integer, hexadecimal and binary forms.
Number Base Converter
Use Number Base Converter
What it does
Enter an integer in decimal, binary, octal or hex and see it in all four bases. Handy for obfuscated links such as http://3221225985/, where an IP address is written as one number.
It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.
Example
IP address written as a number
3221225985C0000201From Decimal it gives hex C0000201, binary 11000000000000000000001000000001 and octal 30000001001. Read as bytes, C0 00 02 01 is 192.0.2.1.
FAQ
Which inputs are accepted?
An integer in the base you pick: binary, octal, decimal or hex. A 0x prefix is accepted in hex mode and a leading minus sign works; the result is shown in all four bases, hex in uppercase without a prefix.
What are the limits?
Values are JavaScript numbers, so integers above 9,007,199,254,740,991 (2^53 − 1) lose precision. Fractions are cut off, and reading stops at the first invalid digit (12abc reads as 12) instead of reporting an error. For dotted IP forms use the IP Address Converter.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
