Its Japanese-language page title translates to "CapCut AI Video Editor: smart online video editing with advanced AI tools," which points to Japanese-speaking creators searching for the tool. The garbled spelling in the domain is a typosquat-style imitation of the brand name, not anything CapCut operates. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-04. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and redirecting visitors.

How the scam works

The page copies CapCut's branding and its pitch for AI editing, so a visitor believes they have reached the real online editor. Impersonation pages like this usually move the visitor somewhere else. They may push a fake installer or "desktop version," ask the visitor to sign in with an account login, or forward them to another destination. The active redirect on this domain fits that pattern. Victims risk losing account credentials or running malicious software they believed was a free editing tool.
