How the scam works
Sites like this copy a real brand's catalogue, product photos and checkout flow, then advertise prices that undercut the genuine store. A shopper who places an order hands over their name, shipping address, email, phone number and full card details. The order either never arrives or a cheap substitute is shipped. The card data can then be reused for further fraudulent charges. The .shop domain combines the brand name with an extra word so it reads like a legitimate regional or sale storefront.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 10 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-17. They include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Netcraft. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors behind it are independent of one another and agree on the verdict. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-22, almost five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was held in reserve or ran quietly before drawing attention. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, which proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the shop is genuine.
