Revision History
Structural completion: added Section 11 (Indemnification) and Section 12 (General Provisions — Severability, No Waiver, Entire Agreement, Assignment). Clarified data licensing (facts vs. protected works), aligned Section 5 with Data Minimization, framed operator identifications as research opinion and investigative leads subject to appeal (Section 8), de-duplicated the removal policy, and added cross-links to Acceptable Use and DMCA. Reframed the sanctions clause (Section 4) as non-cooperation with sanctioned and hostile-state authorities — their legal demands, court orders, and data requests are disregarded in full — while keeping public resources freely open to victims everywhere. Sections renumbered to 14.
Security update: Refined Section 10 to clarify In Rem jurisdiction for infrastructure providers. Hardened Sections 4, 7, and 9 against bad-faith legal abuse and unauthorized access.
Reversed prior "Third-Party Neutrality" stance: Section 7 now expressly permits use of PhishDestroy reports, domain pages, and threat-intelligence data as evidence and supporting documentation in any legal, regulatory, criminal, civil, arbitration, insurance, or administrative proceeding worldwide. Permission granted under the MIT License, royalty-free, without prior written consent. Lawful authorities may request additional context at legal@phishdestroy.io.
Legal hardening: added Research Opinion disclaimer, Right to Terminate Access, Sanctions Compliance (OFAC/EU), Governing Law (Arizona, USA), replaced "No Data Collection" with Data Minimization, strengthened removal policy to require verification. Sections renumbered to 12.
Added sections 6–9: Non-Profit Status & MIT License, Third-Party Neutrality, Mission Scope, Lawful Requests & Removal Policy. Previous sections 6–7 renumbered to 10–11.
Initial publication. Sections 1–7: Mission & Services, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Guiding Principles, User Submissions, Modification of Terms, Contact.
