These examples illustrate the format. They are not real submissions or claims about a particular person.
Material offered for the investigation
“In [month/year], I asked Steam Support to restore items after an account compromise. Its response cited the item-restoration policy. The redacted screenshots show my request and the response. I cannot establish how the account was compromised.”
Temporary editor-only note
“The screenshots are in reverse order. Please read image 2 before image 1. This note only explains the sequence; do not quote it.”
A practical explanation, with no identity or secret attached.
From receipt to decision
Private review. Deliberate publication.
01
Check and isolate
We validate the submission and process screenshots in an isolated worker without network access. Failed checks block acceptance.
02
Verify and select
An editor checks the sources, relevance and rights before selecting what may be used. Your note remains outside publication exports.
03
Use it or delete it
The intake expires after 14 days. Notes expire after 7 or 14 days. Unusable or prohibited material is deleted when identified, subject only to a specific mandatory legal duty.
A verified public excerpt may remain in the investigation. The temporary editor note never becomes part of that record. Private tracking lets you withdraw queued material sooner; removal of an existing publication uses the dispute procedure.
Your private receipt
Check it. Withdraw it.
Use your ID and key to see the status or delete material still held in the intake. Do not send the key by email.
Withdraw and delete queued material
This deletes the account, processed screenshots and editor note in this intake. It does not automatically erase a separately verified publication. The minimal private receipt expires on its original deadline.
The site and human-verification provider process technical connection information. No name or email is required, but this form does not promise untraceable communication or secrecy against a binding lawful obligation.
