PhishDestroy threat report
ipgrussia.run is a phishing page that impersonates Microsoft and greets visitors with a "Verification Required" screen. It targets people with Microsoft accounts, such as Outlook, Office 365 or work and school logins. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09. On 2026-10-19 the host still answered, but the domain's DNS was inactive, so the phishing page was not loading for visitors at that point.
A "Verification Required" page dressed in Microsoft branding plays on a familiar fear: confirm your account now or lose access. Victims usually arrive from an email or message claiming a security check, an unusual sign-in or a pending document. The page then asks for the Microsoft email and password, and kits of this type often ask for a one-time code as well. Anything typed in goes to the operators, who can take over the mailbox and every service tied to it, then use the account to send convincing phishing to the victim's contacts.
On 2026-10-13, 18 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. That is broad agreement across vendors who check independently of each other. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and identified the Microsoft branding without being told what to look for. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL in the malware category, it appears in one AlienVault OTX threat pulse, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through NameSilo, LLC on 2026-03-10, about seven months before PhishDestroy detected it. Phishing domains are often registered and left unused, then switched on for a campaign, and this gap fits that pattern. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc., with the IP geolocated to Canada. That means the address visible to the public is Cloudflare's network, not the server actually hosting the page.
If you entered your Microsoft password on this page, change it right away from the official Microsoft account site. Then sign out of all sessions and review your recent sign-in activity. Turn on or reset two-factor authentication, preferably with an authenticator app, and check for mail forwarding rules or recovery details you did not add. Change the password on any other account that shared it, and warn your contacts if your mailbox may have sent messages. Defenders should block the domain at DNS, proxy and mail gateways and search logs for clicks or form submissions to it. Users who interacted with it should be treated as possibly compromised until their credentials are reset.

Saved certificate metadata. Certificate dates without a timezone are shown as stored. Transport encryption does not establish that the site is trustworthy.
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
