fixedfloat-en.org is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as FixedFloat, the instant cryptocurrency swap service, under the title "FixedFloat | Crypto Exchange". The "-en" suffix makes it look like an official English-language mirror. It targets people searching for a quick coin-to-coin exchange. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-10, and on 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its fake exchange content live.

How the scam works

Instant-swap services work by giving the user a deposit address. They send one coin and receive another in return. A cloned FixedFloat page copies that flow, but the deposit address belongs to the operators, so whatever the victim sends is simply kept and nothing arrives on the other side. Because swaps on the real service need no account or KYC, victims often have no reason to suspect anything until the promised coins never come. Transfers on-chain are irreversible, so the loss is usually the full amount sent.

Evidence

On 2026-10-16, 9 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, among them BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That count is modest, but the vendors are mainstream and agree with each other. The wallet-security ecosystem has also responded: MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. Spamhaus carries it in its DBL as spam, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-08 through Hosting Concepts B.V. (Registrar.eu), just two days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway brand-lookalike domains set up for a single campaign. It is hosted on the Omegatech LTD network in the Netherlands. The Let's Encrypt certificate only gives it a browser padlock, which proves nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you sent crypto to a deposit address shown on this site, do not pay any "verification" or "release" fee that is demanded later; that money will be lost too. Record the transaction hash, the address you sent to and the amount. Report them to your wallet provider, the exchange that funded the transfer and local police. Be wary of anyone offering to recover the funds for a fee. Future swaps should go through the genuine FixedFloat domain from a saved bookmark, not search ads or links. Defenders should block fixedfloat-en.org at DNS and proxy level and watch for similar FixedFloat lookalikes registered in bulk.
