fixedfloatt.org was an impersonation phishing page posing as FixedFloat, the instant crypto swap service, using the page title "FixedFloat | Crypto Swap Platform | ff io". The domain adds a second "t" to the real brand name, which is easy to miss when someone types the address or clicks a search ad. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-30. The site went offline on 2026-09-09, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS is inactive and it no longer loads.
How the scam works
Swap services like FixedFloat work without accounts: you pick a pair, paste a receiving address, and send coins to a deposit address the service generates. A clone of that flow lets the operator show victims a deposit address they control. Coins sent there are simply kept, and the promised swap never arrives. Because the transfer is on-chain and signed by the victim, there is no chargeback. A copycat page can also prompt visitors to connect a wallet, which exposes them to malicious approval requests.
Evidence
When VirusTotal last checked the domain on 2026-09-10, 16 of 89 engines flagged it. Detecting vendors included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, AlphaSOC, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. Wallet-focused blocklists from MetaMask, Polkadot, SEAL, Enkrypt and Codeesura list it alongside PhishDestroy, so many wallet users would have seen a warning. Spamhaus carries it in its DBL as spam. Nine AlienVault OTX pulses also reference the domain, which shows it was tracked across several threat feeds.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. It was hosted at 130.12.180.128 on the Omegatech LTD network in the Netherlands. It stayed online for about ten days after PhishDestroy first saw it. That short lifespan is typical of disposable typosquats that are abandoned once blocklists catch up.
What to do
If you sent crypto to a deposit address shown on fixedfloatt.org, treat those funds as lost. Do not pay anyone who offers to "recover" them. Save the transaction hash and the deposit address, then report them to the real FixedFloat support and to any exchange the funds may have moved through. If you connected a wallet, check its token approvals and revoke any you don't recognize, and move assets to a fresh wallet if you entered a seed phrase. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, and watch for further FixedFloat lookalike domains.
