fixedfloat-eu.com is an impersonation phishing page posing as FixedFloat, the instant cryptocurrency exchange. It carries the page title "FixedFloat | Swap Crypto Instantly" and adds an "-eu" suffix so it can pass as a regional version of the real service. It targets people who want a quick coin-to-coin swap without opening an exchange account. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-10, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Real FixedFloat swaps work by sending coins to a deposit address shown on the page and receiving a different asset in return. A copycat only has to reproduce that flow. The victim picks a pair, sends funds to the address the fake page displays, and the promised coins never arrive. Because crypto transfers are irreversible, whatever was sent is lost. Some clones also ask visitors to connect a wallet or enter details, which exposes them to further theft.

Evidence

Nine of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-16. The named vendors include Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai, so the detections span major independent security firms. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, two blocklists focused on crypto threats. Spamhaus carries it in its domain blocklist as spam, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-08, just two days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains set up for a fresh phishing run. It was registered through Hosting Concepts B.V. (Registrar.eu) and sits on the Omegatech LTD network, with the server located in Germany.

What to do

Do not send any funds to an address shown on this site. If you already made a deposit, record the transaction hash and amount and report it to the exchange or wallet you sent from. Be aware that the funds are very unlikely to come back, and treat any later "recovery" offers as a second scam. If you connected a wallet and approved anything, revoke those permissions and move your assets to a fresh wallet. Defenders should block the domain and watch for lookalike FixedFloat domains that use regional suffixes.
