Convert TOML tables, arrays of tables and key = value pairs into indented block YAML.
YAML to TOML Converter
Use YAML to TOML Converter
What it does
Turn a simple YAML configuration made of nested mappings into TOML with [section] tables. The parser handles only a small YAML subset, so check the result.
It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.
Example
Nested config
title: Report feed
server:
host: 127.0.0.1
port: 8080
tls: true
limits:
rps: 10title = "Report feed"
[server]
host = "127.0.0.1"
port = 8080
tls = true
[server.limits]
rps = 10title = "Report feed" at the top, a [server] table with host, port and tls, and a [server.limits] table with rps = 10.
FAQ
Which YAML features are supported?
Indented key: value mappings at any depth with plain or quoted strings, integers, decimals, true and false; a comment line is skipped only when its # is in the first column. Everything after the first colon is taken literally, so inline comments, escape sequences, anchors, flow collections like [a, b] and multi-line | or > strings are not interpreted.
What happens to lists and null values?
They are lost: indented - item lists are dropped from the output, lists written at the same indentation as their key become repeated keys, which is invalid TOML, and null or ~ values are skipped because TOML has no null. Convert files that contain lists with a full YAML parser instead.
Is my configuration uploaded?
No. Parsing and conversion run in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere, so configs with host names or keys stay on your machine.
