Use Scam Triage Wizard
What it does
Got a suspicious link, e-mail, SMS or QR code? Say what it was and what you already did, and get the tool that checks it, the steps to take now, and where to go next.
It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.
Example
A parcel SMS whose link was opened
sms: openedNothing was handed over. Check it calmly, then report it so others get warned.
What to do
Do not reply, do not call numbers from the message and do not open the link again.
Paste the text into SMS Analyzer: it lists the links and the usual smishing signs, and passes a link on to Link Unwrapper.
Check it with
SMS Analyzer: Paste the text into SMS Analyzer: it lists the links and the usual smishing signs, and passes a link on to Link Unwrapper.
Also useful: Link Unwrapper, Reputation Links.
Then report the scam to PhishDestroy: the link gets checked and sent to the people who can take it down.Nothing was handed over, so the plan is calm: do not reply or call, paste the text into SMS Analyzer, then report the scam. Ticking a password, a seed phrase, a signature, a payment or an install switches the plan to the emergency checklist on the critical-action page.
FAQ
Does the wizard send my answers anywhere?
No. The two answers are matched to a plan inside your browser; nothing is stored or sent. The links it shows are ordinary links to PhishDestroy pages and tools.
When does it send me to the critical-action page?
When you typed a password, a code, a seed phrase or a private key, connected a wallet or signed something, paid, or installed an app or extension. Then speed matters more than checking the message, and that page lists the steps in order.
I only looked at the message. What then?
Do not reply, call or open the link again. Check it with the tool the wizard names, then report it: PhishDestroy checks the link and sends it to registrars, hosts and blocklists so other people are warned.
