Overview

usdc228.com is a domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its name borrows the USDC stablecoin ticker followed by a number, a naming pattern that targets crypto users looking for stablecoin services. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14 after its provider blocked the content, and it was still down when checked again on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page carried the title "onkeyon", which says nothing about USDC or any recognisable service. That mismatch with the stablecoin-themed domain name is the main signal here. PhishDestroy has not assigned a specific scheme to this site. In general, domains that pair a stablecoin ticker with random digits are used to host fake investment, earning or wallet pages that collect deposits, seed phrases or wallet signatures.
