Overview

usdc060.com is an impersonation phishing page built around the USDC stablecoin brand. The numbered domain is typical of throwaway lookalike sites aimed at people who hold or trade USDC. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. The site was still online and serving live content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Sites like this pose as an official or affiliated USDC service, such as a claim, swap, staking or redemption portal, so visitors trust them with actions they would only take on a genuine platform. The usual payoff for the operator is a wallet connection or signature that hands over token access, a direct transfer of USDC to an address the scammer controls, or login and recovery details typed into a fake form. The page carries only the bland title "Home", which gives visitors no indication of who actually runs it. Because stablecoin transfers settle quickly and are rarely reversed, whatever leaves the victim's wallet is usually gone for good.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-17: Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, LevelBlue, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is modest coverage, but these are independent vendors with different detection methods, and their agreement supports the classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2025-12-29, roughly nine months before PhishDestroy detected it. Registrations often sit idle for months before a phishing page goes live on them. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the serving address geolocated to Canada. Because Cloudflare acts as a proxy, it hides the true origin server.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to usdc060.com, use a token approval checker to revoke every permission granted to unfamiliar contracts. Then move your remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your assets immediately. If you typed exchange or email credentials, change those passwords and reset two-factor authentication. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, report it to Cloudflare's abuse channel and to Gname, and watch for sibling domains that pair "usdc" with numbers.
