Overview

tether-gold.sbs is on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its name borrows the wording of Tether's gold-backed token, which makes it likely to catch people searching for that asset. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-10, and on 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. The page currently returns the title "403 Forbidden", so a casual visitor sees an access-denied screen rather than a recognisable crypto site, even though security vendors have flagged the domain.

How the scam works

No specific scheme has been confirmed for this domain, so we do not attribute a particular kit or drainer to it.
