PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

nebulaclient.co is an impersonation phishing site. It uses a lookalike name to pass as a legitimate product and targets people looking for the genuine one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. When checked on 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the name, look and wording of a real project so that visitors trust them. They then ask for account credentials, push a download or ask for other sensitive input, which goes straight to the operators. Victims typically lose account access, personal data, or control of their device if they run a supplied file. The page currently shows the title "Problem loading page", a browser-style error message, which does not match the impersonation activity we classified on this domain.

Evidence

Ten of 91 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious on 2026-10-03. The flagging vendors were alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but it includes several major endpoint and web-filtering vendors, so many users with mainstream security software should already see a warning. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-04-12 through Web Commerce Communications Limited (WebNic.cc), about five and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap that long suggests the name was registered in advance and held before being put to use. The site is hosted in Germany on the network of FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the address bar says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered a username or password on this site, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that shares it, then turn on two-factor authentication. If you downloaded or ran anything from the site, disconnect the device, run a full scan with up-to-date security software, and change passwords from a clean machine. Do not return to the domain, even if it shows an error. Defenders should block nebulaclient.co and its hosting address at DNS and proxy level, and check logs for any internal visits since 2026-09-29.
