PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

vip.boegux.com is an impersonation phishing page tied to a cryptocurrency scam, built to pass itself off as a legitimate crypto service and lure investors and wallet users. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-29. On 2026-10-19 the server was still responding, but the hostname's DNS was inactive, so the scam page could not be reached at this address.

How the scam works

Crypto impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted platform so victims treat them as the real thing. They then hand over login credentials, seed phrases or deposits, or connect a wallet and approve transactions. The "vip" subdomain fits the premium-account bait common on fake investment and trading portals, where exclusive returns are used to pull in larger deposits. The page title shows only an ellipsis and gives no brand name, while urlscan.io places the site in its generic crypto-scam category. Whatever victims send or authorize goes to the operators and is very hard to recover.

Evidence

On 2026-10-03, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Lionic, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. These are mainstream security engines that reached the verdict independently. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and tagged it as a crypto scam. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-04 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, about five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the name was registered in advance or ran quietly before drawing attention. It is hosted on the FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED network in Germany at 62.60.226.245, and the server remained online after the hostname stopped resolving.

What to do

If you deposited funds on this site, stop sending money. Ignore any request for "unlock" or "withdrawal" fees, which these schemes use to extract more. Report the payment to your exchange or bank. If you entered a password or seed phrase, change the password wherever you reused it, enable 2FA, and move any assets out of a wallet whose recovery phrase was exposed. If you connected a wallet, revoke the approvals you granted here. Defenders should block vip.boegux.com and the hosting IP, and search mail and proxy logs for users who reached it after 2026-05-04.
