The site returned an HTTP 404 response and the page title returned by the server was exactly “polymarket.states.market”. The domain was registered on 21 February 2026 and is hosted behind Cloudflare’s edge network (ASN 13335, United States). DNS resolution points to 172.67.170.54 and the authoritative nameservers are vern.ns.cloudflare.com and nola.ns.cloudflare.com, indicating that the attacker leveraged Cloudflare’s DNS and CDN services.

TLS termination is provided by Google Trust Services under the WE1 certificate, which is a legitimate certificate authority and does not by itself imply malicious intent. The service was detected by two of ninety‑three VirusTotal scanners, and the domain appears on a single external blocklist, where it has been flagged by PhishDestroy and subsequently taken offline.
