Overview

morilive.casino presents itself as an online casino and is on the PhishDestroy blocklist as a fraudulent gambling site aimed at players, including those paying in crypto. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-08-17. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and redirecting visitors elsewhere, so it remains an active risk. When loaded, it shows the title "Just a moment...", a generic browser-check screen, rather than casino branding.

How the scam works

Fraudulent casinos lure players with generous welcome bonuses, easy sign-up and apparently winning balances. Deposits go in quickly, but cashing out is where the scheme pays off for the operator. Withdrawals stall behind sudden verification demands, wagering requirements that keep moving, or extra fees that must be paid first. Victims usually lose everything they deposited plus any fees they paid trying to unlock their winnings. Payments made in crypto are especially hard to recover.

Evidence

4 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-01: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is low, so most security tools will not warn visitors yet. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it independently. PhishDestroy is currently the only blocklist on record listing it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2025-07-17, roughly thirteen months before PhishDestroy detected it. A domain held that long before detection may have been aged deliberately or reused for more than one campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the address geolocated to Canada. Because Cloudflare acts as a proxy, the true origin server is not visible publicly, and an abuse report sent only to the proxy may not take the backend offline.

What to do

Do not deposit anything, and never pay a "fee" or "tax" to release a withdrawal, because that money is lost as well. If you paid by card or bank transfer, contact your bank now to dispute the charge. If you sent crypto, write down the transaction hashes and report them to the exchange you sent from. If you reused a password when registering, change it on every other account that uses it and turn on two-factor authentication. Security teams should block morilive.casino at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare and NameCheap with this evidence.
