Overview

lounge.foapux.com is an impersonation phishing page aimed at cryptocurrency users. urlscan.io tagged it as a crypto scam, and the page carries no real title, only an ellipsis. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-29. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the domain still responded, but DNS for the phishing content was inactive.

How the scam works

Crypto impersonation pages copy the look of a known exchange, wallet or project. They usually sit on a throwaway subdomain like "lounge" that sounds like a members area or rewards portal. The victim is asked to log in, verify an account, enter a recovery phrase or connect a wallet to claim access or a bonus. Anything typed into the page goes straight to the operators. A wallet connection can be turned into a signature request that lets them move tokens. Losses are typically account takeover or a drained wallet, and neither can be reversed on-chain.

Evidence

On 2026-10-01, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. That is a broad mix of commercial and community detection sources reaching the same conclusion. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict with a crypto scam brand match. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which matters because many mail filters and resolvers enforce that list. PhishDestroy also carries it on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

foapux.com was registered on 2026-06-26 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com. That was roughly three months before PhishDestroy detected the phishing subdomain, a gap that suggests the domain was registered in advance and later put to use. The site is hosted on the FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED network in Germany. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock in the browser, which only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered a password or 2FA code here, change the password on the real service from its official app and reset two-factor authentication. Then check for unfamiliar logins or withdrawal addresses. If you typed a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker and watch for outgoing transfers. Defenders should block foapux.com and all of its subdomains at DNS, proxy and mail gateways, and flag any traffic to the FEMO IT SOLUTIONS hosting address for review.
