PhishDestroy threat report
duplicate-disabled-581903.invalid is an impersonation phishing site that PhishDestroy flagged on 2026-08-22, just five days after the domain was registered. It was built to pass itself off as a legitimate service so visitors would trust it with their information. The site went offline on 2026-09-10 and was still dead when checked on 2026-10-19.
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a service people already trust, then ask visitors to sign in, verify an account or confirm details. Anything typed into the forms goes straight to the operators, who can use it to take over accounts, reset passwords elsewhere or run follow-up scams against the victim. When PhishDestroy last saw it, the site showed only a "408 Request Time-out" error page, which does not match the impersonation content it was classified for.
On 2026-09-01, 11 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Those engines included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, LevelBlue and Lionic, so the detections come from several unrelated security vendors rather than one source. Spamhaus lists it on its Domain Block List as spam, and it appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses. PhishDestroy's own blocklist carries it as well.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-17 through Ligne Web Services SAS (LWS) and was put into use almost immediately. That short gap is typical of disposable phishing domains meant to be used quickly and then abandoned. It was hosted on the ALEXHOST SRL network in Moldova and used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock it displayed said nothing about whether the site could be trusted.
If you entered a username, password or email on this site, change that password right away on the real service and on any other account that shares it. Then turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app rather than SMS. Check your account activity and recovery settings for changes you did not make, and treat any follow-up email or message that refers to your visit as part of the same scam. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level. They should also search logs for any visits from before 2026-09-10 and reset credentials for affected users.
