PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-13. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.
How the scam works
The page title, "Online Wijn, Spirits en Whisky Kopen | Bestwhisky," sells the idea of a legitimate liquor retailer. Shops like this usually list collectible or premium whisky below market price to trigger quick purchases, then push buyers toward payment methods that are hard to reverse. The victim loses the money paid, and often the card details and home address entered at checkout. In the typical pattern, either nothing arrives or the shop invents shipping delays until refund windows close.
Evidence
Twelve of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-13. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, which is broad agreement across unrelated vendors for a site this new. urlscan.io rates it malicious and specifically marks it as a fake shop. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses alongside the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-10, about five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a shop that was set up, stocked with listings and possibly promoted before it drew attention. It resolves to an address in the United States on a network registered to Malakmadze Web LLC, a Georgian company. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
What to do
If you ordered from this site, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and block the card, and keep screenshots of the order and any emails. If you paid by bank transfer, ask your bank to attempt a recall. Expect follow-up phishing aimed at the email and address you supplied. Report the shop to your national consumer or fraud authority. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting address, and payment providers can use the listing to flag merchant accounts tied to it.
