PhishDestroy threat report
bellsofsteelactive.shop is an impersonation phishing page posing as Bells of Steel, the home-gym and strength equipment retailer. It presents itself under the title "America's Top Value Gym Equipment | Bells of Steel" and targets people shopping for racks, barbells and plates who expect a discount. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-13, and it was still online serving live content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The site copies the look and branding of the real retailer, and the "active" in the domain helps it pass as an official storefront. Heavy, expensive equipment makes a believable lure for steep markdowns, which push buyers to check out quickly. At checkout the victim hands over a name, shipping address, phone number and payment card details. In schemes like this the order is never shipped, the money is gone, and the captured card data can be reused or sold for further fraud.
Ten of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-13, including ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Netcraft, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai and LevelBlue. Most engines have not caught up, but these vendors confirm the domain independently of our own blocklist. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically tagged the page as a fake shop, which matches its storefront behavior. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam domain, and it appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-06, about five months before PhishDestroy detected it. This suggests it was either held in reserve or ran quietly before drawing attention. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, far from the US market the page title targets. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted, not that the shop is genuine.
If you placed an order or entered card details on this site, call your bank or card issuer right away. Ask them to block the card and dispute the charge as fraud. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions, and treat any follow-up emails or calls about your "order" as further phishing. If you reused a password to create an account there, change it on every other site where you use it. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxy, alert staff who buy fitness equipment, and report the impersonation to Bells of Steel so the brand can pursue takedown.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
