How the scam works
Fake whitelist pages exploit the fear of missing out on a launch. In schemes of this kind, that confirmation sends funds straight to the operators or grants them permission to move tokens, so the victim loses whatever was sent or approved. The Arbitrum branding on the page adds credibility the project itself does not have.

On 2026-10-10, VirusTotal showed 4 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. PhishDestroy is currently the only blocklist listing it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-09-19, just eight days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains built for a single campaign. The site is served from Amazon network space in the United States at 216.150.1.1. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock in the browser says nothing about legitimacy.
What to do
Do not connect a wallet or sign anything on ventran.xyz. Arbitrum does not run whitelists for third-party tokens like $VENT. If you already connected and approved anything, review your token approvals with a revocation tool and revoke any unfamiliar ones. If you signed a transaction you did not fully understand, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet.
