rocketz.exchange poses as RocketX Exchange, a legitimate multi-chain swap and bridge platform, presenting itself as a portal for trading across 200+ blockchains. The site is designed to attract cryptocurrency users who are looking to swap or bridge tokens and are familiar with the real RocketX brand. PhishDestroy first identified this domain on 2026-09-19, and as of 2026-10-18 the site remains fully live and serving active content.

How the scam works

The site replicates the RocketX Exchange interface, luring users into connecting their crypto wallets to perform swaps or bridge transactions. Once a wallet is connected, the drainer silently requests broad token approvals or triggers malicious signing prompts that authorize the attacker to transfer assets out of the victim's wallet without further interaction. The victim may believe they are executing a routine swap while their entire token balance — across any approved asset — is drained in a single transaction.

Evidence

Nine of 91 engines on VirusTotal flagged this domain as malicious as of 2026-09-29, with detections from alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, Ermes, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, and SOCRadar.
