binance-web.com is a phishing site posing as Binance and aimed at Chinese-speaking users of the exchange. Its page title repeats the brand in Chinese and claims to be the official Binance website, the official Binance exchange site and the Binance Chinese site. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-07. The site was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page bills itself as "币安官网", the official Binance site, so visitors who arrive from search results, ads or chat links believe they have reached the real exchange. Sites of this type usually present a copied login or registration flow that collects email addresses, passwords and two-factor codes. Those details let the operators take over the victim's genuine Binance account. Some versions also steer users toward depositing crypto to addresses the scammers control, and those funds cannot be recovered. A domain that bolts "-web" onto the brand name is built to look like an official web version of the exchange.

Evidence

Fourteen of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-07, including ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. Google Safe Browsing lists it for social engineering, so many browsers will show a warning page before loading it. urlscan.io rated it malicious and recognized Binance branding on the page. ScamSniffer and Enkrypt block the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and it appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC on 2025-11-03, roughly eleven months before it was detected. That gap means the name was bought well ahead of use or ran quietly for a long time. It resolves to GoDaddy's network, with the hosting located in Singapore. Its Let's Encrypt certificate is free and issued automatically, so the padlock in the address bar says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered Binance credentials on this site, sign in to Binance directly through the official app and change your password at once. Reset two-factor authentication, review active sessions and API keys, and check that no withdrawal addresses have been added. Change the password on your email account as well, especially if you reused it. Do not send deposits through anything this page displays, and contact Binance support if your account shows activity you did not make. Security teams should block the domain and warn users about lookalike "official Binance" sites aimed at Chinese-speaking audiences.
