Overview

bijouteriemedusastore.shop is a fraudulent web store calling itself Bijouterie Medusa. Its French title, "No.1 des Bijoux en Ligne | Or, Diamants, Rolex", is aimed at French-speaking shoppers looking for gold, diamond jewelry and luxury watches. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16 and classifies it as an e-commerce scam. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its storefront.

How the scam works

Fake luxury shops lure buyers with prices on gold, diamonds and Rolex watches that are well below what a real jeweler could offer. The catalogue looks complete, but there is no stock behind it. Once you pay, the order either never arrives or a cheap item turns up in place of what you bought. Your card details, name, address and phone number also end up with the operators, who can reuse them for further fraud. High-value goods like watches and jewelry make each successful sale especially profitable for them.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 5 of 92 engines flagged it on 2026-10-16: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. That count is still low, so most browsers and security tools may not warn visitors yet. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it as well.

Infrastructure

It is hosted on a network run by Malakmadze Web LLC, a company registered in Georgia, while the server's IP address geolocates to the United States. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.

If you have already paid, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and ask for a chargeback, and keep your order confirmation and any emails as proof. If you entered card details, ask your bank to replace the card and watch your statements for unfamiliar charges.
