bijouteriemedusahq.shop is a fake online shop dressed up as a French-language luxury jeweler called Bijouterie Medusa. Its page title claims to be "No.1 des Bijoux en Ligne" and promises gold, diamonds and Rolex watches, which targets shoppers hunting for discounted high-end jewelry. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. When checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its storefront.

How the scam works

Fake luxury shops like this one list desirable items such as gold pieces, diamond jewelry and Rolex watches at prices that look like a rare bargain. At checkout, the buyer hands over payment and personal details. The goods either never arrive or are replaced by worthless items. Victims lose the purchase amount, and the card number, address and phone number they typed in can be reused for further fraud or follow-up scams.

Evidence

Nine of 92 security engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain on 2026-10-16. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. Coverage is modest but spans several independent vendors. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-08, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That is long enough for the storefront to collect orders before landing on blocklists. It resolves to 23.252.79.110 on a network operated by Malakmadze Web LLC, a company registered in Georgia, with the server located in the United States. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.

What to do

If you placed an order, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and ask about a chargeback. Request a replacement card if you entered card details. Expect phishing emails, texts or calls that use your order details, and do not pay any "customs" or "shipping" fees the sellers demand. Keep screenshots and receipts and report the shop to your national consumer fraud authority. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, and flag payment transactions linked to it.
