besrouge.shop is a fraudulent storefront that copied the identity of Bésame Cosmetics, the vintage-inspired luxury makeup brand, under the page title "Luxury Color Cosmetics | Bésame Cosmetics". It targets beauty shoppers searching for the brand's lipsticks and color products, often through ads or social media promotions. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-13. The site went offline on 2026-10-17, and as of 2026-10-19 its domain no longer resolves.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this one reuse a real brand's name, product photos and styling, then list items at prices low enough to rush buyers through checkout. The victim enters a shipping address, email and card details, and pays for an order that never arrives, or receives a cheap substitute. The real loss is often larger than the purchase: the captured card data can be reused for further fraudulent charges, and the contact details feed follow-up phishing. The ".shop" domain and the name "besrouge", a play on the brand name and the French word for red, are meant to look like a plausible regional or promotional outlet.

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. That count is modest, so many browsers and filters would not have warned visitors. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-09, about four months before it came to our attention. A gap like that is typical of shops that are prepared in advance and then promoted in bursts. It was hosted on the network of Malakmadze Web LLC, a Georgian-registered provider, at an address geolocated to the United States. Its lifespan after detection was short: the site was gone four days after we flagged it.
