How the scam works
Impersonation shops copy a real brand's look and product range, then add discounts that make the copy look like a bargain. Victims fill a cart with lights or glass tanks, enter shipping details and pay by card or another method the site pushes. The goods usually never arrive, or something cheap and unrelated shows up instead. The buyer is left without the money, and the card number, name, address and phone number they typed into the checkout are now in the operator's hands.
