As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop pages.
How the scam works
The page title, "Albion - Stay Outside for Longer | Albion", mirrors the branding a genuine cycling apparel retailer would use, and the domain spells out "cycling apparel" to pass a quick glance. Shops like this usually list jerseys, bib shorts and jackets at prices well below normal to push a fast checkout. The buyer pays and then receives nothing, a cheap counterfeit, or an unrelated item. Card details and the delivery address entered at checkout also stay with the operators and can be reused for further charges or fraud.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop. On 2026-09-30, 6 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, which is common for fresh retail fraud, but several established security vendors agree. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-04-09, about five and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was either held in reserve or ran quietly for some time before drawing attention. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia.
