How the scam works
Fake shops like this borrow a known brand name and a professional storefront to look like an authorised reseller. Shoppers are drawn in by discounted prices on a product that normally costs a lot, especially when buying several units for a business. The victim pays at checkout and then receives nothing, a cheap substitute, or a tracking number that leads nowhere. Card details, billing addresses and contact information entered on the site end up with the operators and can be reused for fraud.
