acookshome.shop is a fraudulent storefront trading on the name of Andy Cooks, the popular cooking creator. Its pages carry the title "Cooks with Andy | Andy Cooks" to persuade fans that they are buying from an official brand shop. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-09. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop content.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this borrow a trusted personality's name and imagery, list attractive products at tempting prices, and push visitors through a checkout. The buyer pays by card or another method and then receives nothing, receives a cheap item unrelated to the listing, or gets stuck in stalled "shipping" excuses until refund windows close. The checkout also captures names, addresses, phone numbers and payment details, which can be reused for further fraud. The "Andy Cooks" branding is the lure. It targets people who already trust the creator and are less likely to question a shop that appears to carry his name.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, 8 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but these are separate vendors reaching the same conclusion. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically tagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-31, about three months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is typical of shops that run quietly on ads or social posts before they draw reports. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in the United States. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the seller is genuine.
What to do
If you ordered from acookshome.shop, contact your bank or card issuer now, report the charge as fraud and ask for a chargeback. Cancel the card if you entered its details. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as evidence. Watch for phishing messages that use the name, address or phone number you gave at checkout.
