PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

The captured screenshot shows a Thai-language mobile cryptocurrency exchange interface advertising BTC/USDT at 79927.32 and ETH/USDT at 2314.40, with a grid of deposit, withdrawal, transfer and order functions. PhishDestroy listed the domain after VirusTotal flagged it as malicious and OTX pulses referenced it. It was first seen by PhishDestroy on 2026-10-26.

How the scam works

The page presents familiar exchange controls for depositing funds, transferring, placing USDT orders and inviting friends, steering visitors toward funding an account they believe belongs to a legitimate platform. Credentials or deposits submitted through such a clone can be captured by whoever operates it, creating category risk of account takeover and loss of funds.

Evidence

The screenshot shows price cards, deposit and withdrawal tiles and a bottom navigation bar in Thai. urlscan's machine-learning engine scored it malicious at 100 on 2026-10-26 while its overall verdict stayed clean, and the capture recorded a 307 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS. VirusTotal flagged the domain as malicious, with SOCRadar and Gridinsoft labelling it phishing. Google Safe Browsing, Spamhaus DBL and the urlscan overall verdict were negative on 2026-10-26, while MetaMask, SEAL and PhishDestroy blocklists flagged it, OTX recorded 2 pulses, and inspection found a Vue and Vite front end with TradingView, a Chatwoot chat widget and Cloudflare beacon analytics across 91 requests plus 10 distinct script SHA256 hashes for pivoting, the first beginning bcee984fd52b.

Infrastructure

The main weaknesses are absent Content-Security-Policy, HSTS, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy and COOP/COEP/CORP headers, unsigned DNSSEC and no observed email authentication. TLS 1.3 with AES-256-GCM, forward secrecy and ALPN h2; a CAA record present. Registration dated 2026-08-11 was through NameSilo, LLC, and observations on 2026-10-26 placed it behind the Cloudflare WAF with Cloudflare nameservers.
