PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

The captured screenshot shows a mobile-style page headed Home with a Register button, a banner reading Trade Smarter, Trade on Bitget, and tiles claiming 100+ markets, 800+ trading pairs, 25M+ users and B+ trading volume. It also shows Referral, Futures and Spot buttons, a Strict Supervision tile, and bottom navigation for Home, Markets, Trade and Assets. PhishDestroy listed adjn.top under its automated Impersonation assessment as an impersonation phishing page, first seen on 2026-10-26.

How the scam works

The Register control and account navigation invite a visitor to type a username, password or other account details into an exchange interface that does not belong to the brand it imitates, letting whoever runs the page capture those credentials. As a category risk, any sign-up, login or recovery data entered into a cloned exchange page can be replayed against the genuine service or reused elsewhere.

Evidence

The screenshot itself carries Bitget branding and promotional figures beside a Register control; inspection of that capture recorded a Vue and Vite application with TradingView globals, one Cloudflare tracker across 74 requests, and 10 distinct script SHA256 hashes for campaign pivoting, the first beginning 10554d85be4e. urlscan rated the scan malicious with an ML score of 97 on 2026-10-26, while another urlscan overall verdict and Google Safe Browsing were not flagged on 2026-10-26, and HTTP requests were redirected to HTTPS with a 307. VirusTotal flagged the domain as malicious, with Sophos and Fortinet labelling it phishing, and Cloudflare Radar returned a phishing verdict on 2026-10-26. Spamhaus listed it under the spam category, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists listed it, and AlienVault OTX carried 4 pulses, all checked 2026-10-26.

Infrastructure

Registered through NameSilo, LLC on 2026-10-11 with Cloudflare nameservers. Weaknesses lead: CSP and HSTS absent; X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, COOP, COEP and CORP also absent; no SPF lookups observed; DNSSEC unsigned. TLS 1.3 with AES-256-GCM, forward secrecy and ALPN h2; a CAA record is present.

What to do

If you submitted credentials or account details on adjn.top, change that password on the genuine Bitget service and enable 2FA, and do not reuse it elsewhere. Treat any message linking to this page as phishing and avoid opening it again. Defenders should block adjn.top, watch for newly registered lookalike domains, and pivot on the recorded script hashes.

Questions about adjn.top

Is adjn.top legit?

No. PhishDestroy classifies adjn.top as a Bitget impersonation page (risk: critical, 100/100); it was first detected on 2026-10-26. VirusTotal: 8/92 engines flag it. Listed on Spamhaus DBL. Treat the site as unsafe.

Is adjn.top safe to connect a wallet?

No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on adjn.top. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.

What should I do if I used adjn.top?

Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.

Registrar accreditation and DNS abuse obligations

For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.

02Abuse reports & follow-upRegistrar, hosting and security channels
  1. Identify the responsible provider. Match registration and hosting records to the relevant abuse contact.
  2. Prepare an evidence package. Include the URL, public scan references, captures and the recorded observations.
  3. Send the report. Keep outgoing report records and recipient information when available.
  4. Recheck and publish updates. Track later scanner verdicts, provider responses and site availability.

Security services used for scanning, reputation checks and reporting are listed below. A service being listed is not evidence that it received, accepted or acted on this particular domain. Recorded submissions appear in the notification history above.

Check for cloaking

You are not alone and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Scammers are sophisticated criminals who exploit trust. Reporting your experience is the most powerful weapon against fraud — your report can prevent others from becoming victims and help law enforcement take action. Silence is the scammer’s greatest advantage. Break it.
If credentials were compromised, report immediately. Do not engage with recovery scammers.

If credentials, payment data, or files were exposed, report the incident immediately. Change affected passwords, revoke active sessions, and scan the device.

Recommendations & Advice for Victims

Choose the steps that match what you shared. Keep a copy of this report alongside your own records.

What should I do immediately?

Urgent

Stop using the suspicious site. Open the real service through its official app or an address you already trust.

  • Change all passwords — email, exchange accounts, anything that shares the same password
  • Enable 2FA using an authenticator app (not SMS). Disable SMS-based recovery
  • Freeze cards if you entered banking details on the phishing site

What information should I collect for my report?

FBI guidelines

Keep original emails, receipts, messages and screenshots in a secure place. A factual timeline helps the receiving authority understand what happened. IC3 evidence guidance ↗

  • Payment records — if you paid, save the receipt, amount, date, payment provider and recipient details.
  • Exact dates & times — of each transaction and first contact with scammer
  • Screenshots — scam website, chat messages, emails, wallet transactions, social media
  • All URLs & domains used by the scammer (including adjn.top)
  • Communications — emails, texts, phone numbers, usernames the scammer used

Even if you don't have all details — file a report anyway. Partial information still helps investigations.

Where should I report the scam?

  • FBI IC3 — Internet Crime Complaint Center (US federal reporting)
  • Europol — European cybercrime reporting (EU)
  • Your bank or payment provider — contact its fraud team promptly through official contact details if money or card information was exposed.
  • Local police — creates an official record, even if they can't act immediately

A report is not a guarantee of recovery or investigation, but prompt, accurate transaction data can help authorities and service providers trace the incident.

How do phishing scams typically work?

  • Fake websites — pixel-perfect clones of legitimate sites with slightly altered domains
  • Pig butchering — trust built over weeks via Telegram/WhatsApp/dating apps, then money stolen
  • Recovery scams — fraudsters pose as recovery agents and demand upfront fees. Never share a seed phrase or pay before independently verifying the provider
  • AI-powered scams — deepfakes, automated phishing, and AI-generated sites making fraud harder to detect

How can I protect myself in the future?

  • Bookmark official sites — never click links from emails, DMs, or ads
  • Verify domains — check on PhishDestroy before interacting. Check HTTPS, spelling, domain age
  • "Too good to be true" = scam — guaranteed returns, celebrity endorsements, urgent deadlines

The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
