PhishDestroy threat report
rewards-zama.life is a phishing page that impersonated Zama, the confidential blockchain protocol, and carried the page title "Zama: The Confidential Blockchain Protocol" to look like the real project. The "rewards" prefix shows the bait: people hoping to claim tokens or incentives tied to Zama. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. The site has been offline since 2026-09-30 and was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake rewards portals copy a project's name and branding, then tell visitors they are eligible for an allocation that only needs to be claimed. The claim step is the trap. Victims are asked to connect a wallet and approve transactions or signatures that hand control of their tokens to the attacker, or to enter recovery phrases or other secrets. Anything authorized this way can be moved out of the wallet with no way to reverse it.
Wallet-security blocklists caught this domain faster than general antivirus scanners did. MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL all list it alongside PhishDestroy, and those are the lists most likely to block it inside a crypto user's own tools. On VirusTotal, only Forcepoint ThreatSeeker out of 91 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-29, so most scanners would not have warned a visitor. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-28 through Eranet International Limited and was detected the following day. It went offline about 48 hours after registration, which fits the burn-and-replace pattern of campaigns that cycle through new domains. Traffic ran through Cloudflare, Inc. (geolocated to CA), so the visible address belongs to Cloudflare's network rather than the operator's own server. Its Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock icon proved only that the connection was encrypted, not that the site was legitimate.
If you connected a wallet to this site, use a revocation tool to review and revoke any token approvals or permissions you granted, and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you typed in a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer assets to a new one at once. Check Zama rewards or airdrop claims only through the project's official channels, never through links in ads or messages. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar newly registered Zama-themed names, since this operation clearly works with short-lived domains.

No. PhishDestroy classifies rewards-zama.life as a MetaMask impersonation page (risk: critical, 95/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-29. VirusTotal: 1/91 engines flag it. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on rewards-zama.life. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
