PhishDestroy threat report
hyperliquidkorea.com is a phishing site impersonating Hyperliquid, the on-chain perpetuals exchange. Its page title, "하이퍼리퀴드 - Hyperliquid", puts the brand name in Korean first, and the domain itself suggests an official Korean branch. That framing is aimed at Korean-speaking traders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-28, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content.
Hyperliquid users normally reach the exchange by connecting a self-custody wallet. A lookalike site can exploit that habit by asking visitors to connect their wallet and then presenting signature or approval requests that hand control of their tokens to the attacker. Some versions ask for a seed phrase or private key under the pretext of "verification" or "recovery". Either way, the funds in the connected wallet are what the victim stands to lose, and a localized Korean front makes the page look like a legitimate regional portal rather than a copy.
Six of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-11: alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest share, so many security products will still let the page load. More weight comes from wallet-focused lists: the domain is blocked by PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL, and Spamhaus lists it in its DBL as phishing. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-05-23 through Megazone Corp., dba HOSTING.KR, a Korean registrar that fits the localized branding. About three months passed between registration and our first detection. The site is hosted on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the United States.
If you connected a wallet to this site, use a token-approval checker to revoke any permissions you granted. Then move remaining assets to a fresh wallet, because a signed permit can be used later. If you typed in a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as fully compromised and transfer everything out immediately. Always reach Hyperliquid only through addresses you have verified yourself, never through links in ads, chats or search results. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and add it to wallet-security tooling, and they can submit abuse reports to the registrar and hosting provider to speed up takedown.

No. PhishDestroy classifies hyperliquidkorea.com as a Hyperliquid impersonation page (risk: critical, 100/100); it was first detected on 2026-08-28. VirusTotal: 6/89 engines flag it. Listed on Spamhaus DBL. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on hyperliquidkorea.com. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
