Example

Input
X% of Y mode: X = 15, Y = 240
What the output looks like
36.0000

Result 36.0000.

FAQ

How is percentage change calculated?

(new − old) ÷ |old| × 100, so going from 80 to 100 is 25% and from 100 to 80 is −20%. The old value must not be 0.

Why do I see — instead of a result?

A number is missing or is zero where the formula cannot use it: X% of Y needs both numbers non-zero, X is ?% of Y needs a non-zero Y, and % Change needs a non-zero old value. Results are rounded to 4 decimal places.

Is anything sent?

No. It is arithmetic in your browser.
