Use Progress ETA Calculator

What it does

Enter how many items a job has, how many are done and how many seconds it has run, to see the progress, the speed and an estimated finish time. The estimate assumes the speed stays constant.

It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.

Example

Job about one third done

Input
Total items 1000, completed items 350, elapsed time 120 seconds
Output (captured 2026-10-20)
Fill in all fields

Progress 35.00%, speed 2.92 items/sec, about 3m 42s remaining, plus the clock time when the job should finish.

FAQ

How is the ETA calculated?

Speed is completed items divided by elapsed seconds, and the time remaining is the items left divided by that speed. It is a straight-line estimate, so it is only as good as the assumption that the rate stays the same.

What are the limits?

All three fields must be filled in and non-zero. The finish time is a clock time without a date, so for jobs that run past midnight rely on the time remaining; if completed exceeds total, the remaining time shows "--".

Is anything sent?

No. The calculation runs in your browser.
