FAQ
Which spelling words does it use?
Alpha, Bravo, Charlie through Zulu, in the common English spelling (Alpha and Juliet rather than the ICAO forms Alfa and Juliett). Digits are written as words, with 9 as Niner.
What happens to spaces and punctuation?
A space becomes a slash between words. Punctuation and letters outside A to Z are copied through as they are, except that letters are upper-cased, so é appears as É.
Is the text sent anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser as you type.
