ROT13 / Caesar Cipher
Use ROT13 / Caesar Cipher
What it does
Shift every Latin letter by 13 or any other amount; the output updates as you type. ROT13 (PHP's str_rot13) is a common layer in obfuscated phishing-kit and web-shell code, and uggcf:// is its giveaway for https://.
It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.
Example
ROT13-hidden link
uggcf://ybtva.rknzcyr.pbz/irevslhttps://login.example.com/verifyWith the default shift of 13 the output is https://login.example.com/verify.
FAQ
What exactly is shifted?
Only the Latin letters A–Z and a–z, each moved forward by the shift with wrap-around and its case kept. Digits, punctuation, accented and non-Latin letters stay as they are.
How do I decode a Caesar shift other than 13?
Use 26 minus the shift (text shifted by 3 decodes with 23) or enter a negative value such as -3. ROT13 is its own inverse; neither is encryption, just a letter substitution anyone can undo.
Is the text sent anywhere?
No. The shift is applied in your browser as you type.
