What it does

FAQ

Which Markdown syntax is supported?

Headings (#, ##, ###), **bold**, *italic*, `inline code`, lines starting with - or 1. as list items, [text](https://…) links, > quotes, --- rules and blank lines as breaks. Tables, images, fenced code blocks and nested lists are not converted.

Is HTML in the input escaped?

Yes. Everything you type is escaped first and shown as text, so pasted tags, styles or meta refresh redirects have no effect; only the Markdown syntax above becomes formatting, and links must start with http:// or https://.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The conversion is a set of regular expressions running in your browser; nothing is sent or stored.
