Use IBAN Validator & Parser

What it does

Paste an IBAN, with or without spaces, to test its check digits (ISO 7064 mod 97-10) and its length for the country, and see it split into parts and grouped in fours.

It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.

FAQ

What does VALID IBAN mean here?

The check digits pass the mod-97 test and, for countries in the tool's table, the length matches. It does not check the national bank code or account number format, does not look up the bank or BIC, and cannot tell who owns the account or whether it exists.

Which countries are covered?

The length table lists 75 countries. Some countries added to the IBAN registry more recently, such as Egypt and Libya, are missing; for codes not in the table only the checksum is tested.

Is the IBAN sent anywhere?

No. The check is arithmetic in your browser; nothing is uploaded or looked up.
