Use HTTP Status Codes Reference

What it does

Search 34 common HTTP status codes by number or name, colour-coded by class from 1xx informational to 5xx server errors.

It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.

Example

Redirect codes

Input
30
Output (captured 2026-10-20)
CODE	NAME
301	Moved Permanently
302	Found
304	Not Modified
307	Temporary Redirect
308	Permanent Redirect

Shows the five 3xx codes in the list: 301, 302, 307 and 308 are the redirects that phishing links chain through, while 304 Not Modified is a cache response.

FAQ

Is the list complete?

No. It has 34 common codes; others such as 303 See Other, 407 Proxy Authentication Required and 511 Network Authentication Required are missing. The full list is the IANA HTTP Status Code Registry (RFC 9110).

What can a status code tell me about a phishing URL?

301, 302, 307 and 308 mean the link redirects elsewhere, 404 or 410 often means the page was removed, and 451 means it was blocked for legal reasons. Phishing kits also cloak, returning 404 or a harmless page to scanners while showing the phishing page to targets, so one status code is not proof.

Does this page make any requests?

No. It is a static list searched in your browser; it does not fetch any URL and nothing is sent anywhere.
