FAQ
How are the UUIDs generated?
Each one is 16 bytes from crypto.getRandomValues with the version bits set to 4 and the variant bits set as RFC 9562 (formerly RFC 4122) requires, which leaves 122 random bits. They carry no timestamp or machine information.
How many can I make at once?
From 1 to 1,000: larger numbers are capped at 1,000, and an empty or zero count gives the default of 100. The No hyphens and UPPERCASE options change only how the values are written.
Are the UUIDs sent or stored anywhere?
No. They are generated in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and they exist only on the page until you copy or download them.
