rocket-play.website is an impersonation phishing page. Its name is built to pass as a 'Rocket Play' gaming or betting site, and it targets people who expect to log in, deposit or play there. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-24. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online, with its content served behind a protective browser check.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the name and look of a service people already trust so that visitors hand over what the real site would ask for. That usually means account credentials, card or crypto deposits, and sometimes identity details. Victims lose access to their accounts and any money they send. Instead of branded content, the page title reads 'Just a moment...', the wording of a browser-verification interstitial, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Five of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Most engines have not caught up, so a clean result in many scanners does not mean the site is safe. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which is an independent verdict that mail and DNS filters use widely. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain, which shows other researchers are tracking it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-08-21 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED. PhishDestroy detected it three days later, which fits a site set up for a short-lived campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare, Inc., resolving to an address located in Canada. That setup hides the origin server and explains the challenge page visitors see first.
What to do
If you logged in through this site, change that password right away, along with any other account that uses the same one, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered card details or sent a deposit, contact your bank or payment provider to dispute the charge and block the card. Do not pay any further 'verification' or 'unlock' fees. Reach the real service only by typing its address yourself or using its official app. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and the email gateway, apply Spamhaus DBL filtering, and search their logs for users who visited it after 2026-08-21.
