Overview

PhishDestroy’s intake AI classified kyberswap.cam as malicious because it mimics the KyberSwap brand and claims to offer token‑swap services on a non‑official domain. The recorded page title reads “KyberSwap – Swap, Trade & Earn Tokens on Ethereum at the Best Rate,” which supports the impersonation claim. PhishDestroy first observed the domain on 2026-10-22 and recorded an HTTP 200 response on that date.

How the scam works

Fake‑exchange scams copy the visual design and wording of legitimate decentralized platforms to trick users into connecting wallets or entering credentials. Once a victim authorizes a transaction or provides login details, attackers can steal funds or harvest private keys. The primary risks are credential theft and unauthorized wallet approvals.

Evidence

VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-22 and reported zero malicious or suspicious detections out of 92 engines. Google Safe Browsing also returned no flag on the same date. Cloudflare Radar identified the site as phishing, and urlscan.io’s machine‑learning engine assigned a 98 score and labeled it malicious on 2026-10-22.
